Man Stabbed Just After Midnight Following Fight, Police Investigating

It was 12:12 a.m. Friday, when cops went to Shelton Avenue and Reed Street and found a man who'd been stabbed in the back, police said.

NEW HAVEN, CT —Just minutes after midnight, a New Haven man was stabbed in the back in the area of Shelton Avenue and Reed Street, police said.

Taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, his injuries were deemed non-life-threatening, police said.

Investigators found the crime scene and interviewed the victim, who said he was "stabbed following an argument with another male," New Haven police spokesperson Christian Bruckhart said.
