Milford Murderer's New Haven Robbery Case Sentence Delayed

No sentencing in the New Haven robbery case until September for convicted murderer Matthew Pugh.

NEW HAVEN--A Superior Court judge has postponed the sentencing of Matthew Pugh in a New Haven robbery case.

According to The New Haven Register, Judge Jon Alander opted to delay the sentencing until September 7 to allow for additional research in the case.

Pugh is facing assault and robbery charges for allegedly holding up a Yale grad student near her apartment in New Haven eight years ago, two years after the murder in Milford, The New Haven Register reports.

Pugh is currently in prison, serving a 60-year sentence for the brutal murder of his ex-girlfriend Alexandra Ducsay in Milford in 2006.
