New Haven Ballet Announces Introductory Program for Young Dancers

New Haven Ballet is kicking off the new year with a special offer designed to welcome young dancers into the world of ballet. From January 5 to 31, 2026, children ages 3 to 9 who are new to the school may participate in a month of classes for a flat rate of $60.

This introductory program provides families with an easy, low commitment way to experience the school’s training, meet its professional faculty, and discover the nurturing environment that defines New Haven Ballet.

“We love giving new students a chance to explore ballet in a warm, encouraging setting,” said Children’s Division Director Timothy Fountain. “This special is a wonderful opportunity for young dancers to see what makes our community unique,” adds Artistic Director Lisa Kim.

Classes are offered across multiple levels to ensure appropriate placement for each child. Students receive expert instruction from highly trained faculty dedicated to fostering confidence, musicality, flexibility, coordination, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts.

As an added benefit, families who enroll their dancer in the Spring 2026 semester will have the $60 January tuition applied directly toward their spring tuition.

Program Details

• For new students ages 3 to 9

• Tuition is credited toward Spring 2026 if the student enrolls
• Classes offered at 591 Whitney Avenue or 70 Audubon Avenue in New Haven
