UPDATE: Missing New Haven Girl, 18, With Disabilities Found Safe: PD
Keyasia Mcelveen, last seen May 5 when she left her home. Police said late Wednesday that she was located safe.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Update: Police reported late Wednesday that Keyasia Mcelveen has been found safe.

Police are asking for help in locating a missing 18-year-old girl from New Haven.

Keyasia Mcelveen was last seen May 5 when she left her home, police said, adding the teen "suffers from mental health issues and has an intellectual disability."
Keyasia is described as a Black female with brown eyes, is 5' 8" tall and weighs 120 pounds. When she was last seen, she was wearing blue jeans, a black and purple hoodie and purple and lime green shoes. She is also wearing a black and gold wig, as seen in the photo. Police noted that "identifying characteristics (include) cut marks on her arms."
