NEW HAVEN, CT —A Wednesday night shooting in the West Rock neighborhood left a New Haven man injured, police said. It was just after 7:30 p.m., when police said they got a 911 call and a Shotspotter alert of a shooting at Wayfarer and Level streets. When officers arrived, they found a 36-year-old man shot in the leg, authorities tweeted. Transported to the hospital, police said he suffered non-life-threatening injuries. July 22 and July 23 also saw Wayfarer Street <a href="https://patch.com/connecticut/newhaven/july-13-new-haven-has-had-11-shootings-16-gunshot-victims">shooting incidents</a>, two separate shootings where three people were shot; an 18 and 19-year-old and a juvenile.
