New Haven Man, 37, Walked Into Hospital Late Friday With a Gunshot Wound, Companion Faces Gun Charges: NHPD

NEW HAVEN, CT — Late Friday night, a 37-year-old New Haven man was a "walk-in" to Saint Raphael campus of Yale New Haven Hospital with non-life-threatening, police said.
The victim said he was shot on Hubinger Street, but police said they found no crime scene there.
The man had an outstanding warrant from parole, who responded to take custody of him while at the hospital, police said.

A woman accompanying the victim, Manesha Gallishaw, 38, was found to be was found to be in possession of a bag which contain a stolen Smith & Wesson .22 firearm, police said. Gallishaw was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit and possession of a stolen firearm. She was held on a $250,000 bond.
