NEW HAVEN, CT — Just before 8 p.m. Tuesday, cops were called to the area of Jennings Way and Bosley Street on a weapons complaint. As posted on social media, police said that once patrol officers arrived, they were told by the "victim" that a neighbor threatened to shoot them.

The man, who was later identified as Mufasa Bey, 54, of New Haven, displayed a handgun outside during an argument and threatened to shoot the person.

Bey was detained without incident, police said. A subsequent search warrant execution yielded a .40 caliber handgun with an obliterated serial number, as well as live ammunition, police said.
