New Haven Man Shot Overnight Tuesday In Critical Condition: Police

NEW HAVEN, CT — A 29-year-old New Haven man is in critical condition after being shot overnight Tuesday, police said.

It was around 2:30 a.m., when police were called to the area of Sixth Street and Greenwich Avenue for the report of gunshots, according to New Haven Police Department spokesperson officer Christian Bruckhart, where detectives found the crime scene.

A short time later, officers learned that a man with gunshot wounds arrived in a private vehicle at Yale New Haven Hospital and, as of late Tuesday, was listed in critical but stable condition, he said.
