Sales Tax-Free Week begins this Sunday, August 22 and continues through Saturday, August 27.

From the City of New Haven:
Mayor Harp today encouraged families throughout the region to take advantage of the state’s annual Sales Tax-Free Week (Sunday, August 21 – Saturday, August 27) and shop in New Haven for back-to- school purchases.
Each year during Sales Tax-Free Week, sales tax is waived on most individual clothing and footwear items priced under $100. There’s no limit on how many items consumers can buy, as long as each individual item is less than $100.
