New Haven Officials Announce Milling/Paving Work to Take Place This Week

City officials say milling and paving on Temple Street may cause delays for area motorists.

NEW HAVEN, CT – Public Works officials today announced details of a downtown milling and paving project scheduled for later this week. Temple Street, between Elm Street and Crown Street, will be the site of this routine, yet comprehensive street repair.

City officials said milling work will be done after business hours beginning Wednesday evening. Paving operations are scheduled to begin Friday.

Drivers who plan to use Temple Street in the project area during business hours Thursday and Friday might experience delays as a result of its rough, unfinished surface and instead are encouraged to consider using an alternate route for the second half of this week.
