NEW HAVEN - A New Haven resident is $10,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket in town earlier this week, according to the Connecticut Lottery.

On December 3, Dana Hawkins, of New Haven, purchased a $100,000 Cashword 11 ticket from the EZ Gas Mart in New Haven and won $10,000.
