WEST HAVEN, CT — A New Haven resident recently won more than $51,000 on a lottery ticket that was sold in West Haven, according to the Connecticut Lottery. The resident won $51,112 on a CASH 5 ticket that was sold at Sunoco Gas at 435 Derby Avenue in West Haven, according to lottery officials. The CT Lottery has changed its policy on announcing winners by not including the winners' full names on the list in order to protect them from potential scams, according to officials.
