New Haven Restaurant Week Returns Nov. 5-10
New Haven Restaurant Week features 25 of the city's most popular restaurants, representing eight vibrant neighborhoods.
NEW HAVEN, CT —New Haven’s longest-running foodie event, New Haven Restaurant Week, returns Nov. 5 to 10 marking the promotion’s 15th anniversary. This regionally lauded bi-annual event welcomes visitors and locals to experience culinary excellence in the nation’s pizza capital, the home of the original hamburger sandwich and the stomping grounds of Connecticut’s most talented chefs.
“We are thrilled to celebrate 15 years of New Haven Restaurant Week, our city's longest-running foodie promotion,” says Bruno Baggetta, Director for Market New Haven, Inc., downtown’s destination marketing organization. “This is a milestone and it wouldn’t be possible without the support of our funders, Yale University and Yale-New Haven Health. Their continued support has allowed us to evolve Restaurant Week into one of the region's most anticipated events.”
The fall edition of New Haven Restaurant Week features 25 of the city’s most popular restaurants, representing eight vibrant neighborhoods throughout the city. Of the 25 participating restaurants, 14 will offer $25 lunch specials, with all participating locations offering pre fixe dinner experiences for $45 or $55 per person. Beverages, taxes, and gratuity are not included.

Off the plate, New Haven Restaurant Week gives back. Since 2009, more than $55,000 has been raised for the Connecticut Foodshare, an organization that works year-round to combat hunger and food insecurity across the state. This year participating restaurants have donated $5,000.
“In Connecticut, nearly 1 in 10 of our neighbors are experiencing food insecurity, and the need continues to rise. Community partnerships are critical in supporting our mission. We are thankful for the continued support from Market New Haven, Inc., citizens and all the participating restaurants for this extremely generous donation. Thousands of Connecticut households will now have the food they need and hope for the future,” said Jason Jakubowski, President and CEO of Connecticut Foodshare.
