NEW HAVEN, CT —The New Haven Scholarship Fund awarded $260,000 in college scholarships to 133 New Haven students at its annual ceremony Sunday at Hill Regional Career High School.

The scholarship fund offers one-year, renewable scholarships to New Haven residents with demonstrated financial need. The awards vary in size, depending on factors including the student's financial need, the student's academic record, and the funds available.
This year, the fund gave $260,000 in scholarships to first-year recipients and, later this summer, another $190,000 to students who have reapplied.
