New Haven Teacher 'Helps Students Who Want To Choose A Military Path'

NEW HAVEN, CT — Great teachers matter. In New Haven, we're fortunate to have teachers like Joseph Steele.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

He helps out a lot of students and helps students who want to choose the military path, and he coached my dad in high school too and he helped my dad shape out his career. The reason my dad is where he is today is because of Mr. Steele, and he’s a great person and helped me with my senior year. He’s been teaching and coaching for 50+ years and cares about all his students.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

That he is a great person and he is the reason why my dad and many others are in a good place and have a good career. He’s helped out so many students and has had a huge impact on many lives.
