Obituary: Aaron Hassan Wilfong, 25, of New Haven
Aaron was a loving and devoted father, son and brother.
NEW HAVEN, CT - (From Colonial Funeral Home) Aaron Hassan Wilfong, 25, passed away unexpectedly March 7, 2022, in New Haven, CT. He was born August 22, 1996, at Yale New Haven Hospital, the son of Jeanette Wilfong.
Aaron attended Roberto Clemente, Lincoln Bassett, and Urban Youth schools. He was engaged to his fiancé Tania Marie Ramos of New Haven, CT.
He was predeceased by his Aunt Brenda Towns; Grandmother Frances Wilfong and niece, Sanaya Green.
Surviving in addition to his mother, Jeanette Wilfong, is his son Aaron Hassan Wilfong Jr., sisters Candice Wilfong of New Haven, CT, Katrina Wilfong and Francine Wilfong of Waterbury, CT.
Brothers Donnell Bay of New Haven, CT, Lester Joy of New Jersey, Bryan Wilfong of New Haven, CT. Nieces Ashanti Miller, Neveah Wilfong, Royal Wilfong, Uaniya Wilfong. Nephews Saquir Wilfong Sr, Floyd Branch 3rd, Bryan Wilfong Jr, Saquir Wilfong Jr, and Nature Spearman.
Godmothers Marie Maybanks and Tanya Wiley, and Godfather Tyrell Tyson (Ghost) amongst a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of Aaron’s life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 4pm at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden.
