Obituary: Patsy D. McIver, 70, of New Haven
Patsy, known for her beauty and grace, inside and out, was a powerful mentor and dedicated member of Living Word Ministries for 20 years.
NEW HAVEN, CT - (From Colonial Funeral Home) Patsy D. McIver died suddenly on May 6, 2022. She was born in Manhattan, New York to the late Lucener (1999) and John (1984) Howard.
Patsy Lived in New Haven most of her life. Patsy graduated from Wilbur Cross High School. She also attended Albertus Magnus Briefly.
Patsy was a member of Living Word Ministries for 20 years. Patsy worked in countless ministries.
Patsy was full of beauty grace, inside and out. She was so gentle in her advice giving. “Do you want my advice?’” which made her a powerful mentor because you wanted to listen attentively because of her delivery.
She was Predeceased by her daughter Vonyel , her husband Neill Spencer McIver and two sisters, Juanita Johnson and Linda Guest.
She leaves to cherish her memory, A daughter Latrice McIver of New Haven, a brother Eddie Howard and three Sisters Annie Huckaby of New Haven, Claytonia Jenkins and Astoria Ridley of Hamden and her prayer partner Carolyn Banks of Hamden.
A celebration of Patsy’s life will be held on Friday May 20, 2022 at 11am at Colonial Funerals, 86 Circular Avenue, Hamden.
