Obituary: Ricardo Colón, 38, of New Haven

NEW HAVEN, CT - (From Washington Memorial Funeral Home) Ricardo Colón, 38, of New Haven died suddenly at his home on Saturday, February 12, 2022. Ricardo was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 17, 1983, a son of Edgardo Colón Ortíz and Erasma López Rodríguez of New Haven and had lived in New Haven for the past 20 years.

He was a former assistant manager and supervisor at Walmart in New Haven and Branford and had also worked at TMotor of East Haven.

In addition to his parents, Ricardo is survived by his sister Maria Colón, a brother Jorge Colón of New Haven and many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ricardo's family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday, February 21st from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.

Burial will be private.
