Obituary: Samuel Ojeda, 56, of New Haven
Sam, a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, worked many years as a self-employed auto mechanic.
NEW HAVEN, CT -(From Washington Memorial Funeral Home) Samuel Ojeda, 56, of New Haven died suddenly at his home on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.
He was the beloved husband of Eva. J. Cepeda Ojeda. Sam was born in Canóvanas, Puerto Rico on September 25, 1965, a son of the late German Ojeda and the late Maria Osorio and had resided in New Haven for the past 35 years.
He was a self-employed auto mechanic. Sam is survived by a daughter, Eveidy Ojeda of New Haven, two sons, Samuel Ojeda of New Haven and Lemuel (Jennifer) Ojeda of Waterbury, two sisters, Elizabeth Lozada of Loiza, Puerto Rico and Abigail "Viguita" (Nelson Osorio) Ojeda of Orange City, FL, six brothers, Hector Lozada Ojeda and Joel Ojeda of New Haven, David (Sarita) Ojeda, German (Loida Fuentes) Ojeda and Isaias (Omayra Roman) Ojeda of Loiza, and Moises Ojeda of Carolina, Puerto Rico.
He is also survived by six grandchildren.
Funeral services for Sam are private and have been entrusted to Washington Memorial Funeral Home, 4 Washington Ave., North Haven.
