Police Investigate Shooting Of West Haven Man
The man, 25, walked into Yale New Haven Hospital suffering from a gunshot wound Thursday evening. His injuries were non-life-threatening.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating a shooting after a West Haven man suffering from a gunshot wound walked into Yale New Haven Hospital Thursday evening.
New Haven Police said they received a call from the hospital regarding a person shot at around 7:07 p.m. Thursday.
"Responding officers found that a 25-year-old West Haven man had walked into the hospital, suffering from a gunshot wound, and was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries," police said in a statement.

Officers are unable to determine where the shooting took place at this time, police said, and any witnesses who have not spoken with the police are asked to contact the New Haven Police Department Investigative Services Division at (203) 946-6304.
