Police Seek Public Help To ID Man Accused Of Robbing Gas Station: PD

NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven police are hoping with the public's help they can identify a man seen on security camera footage believed to be connected to an overnight robbery, according to a spokesperson.

On Feb. 14, at around 2:30 a.m., police were called to the Mobil gas station at 200 Sargent Dr., for the "report of a robbery," Officer Christian Bruckhart said. He noted that the caller told police, "A white male entered the gas station, demanded money and grabbed several packs of cigarettes and cash from the register before leaving the scene on foot. The suspect never displayed a weapon but implied he had one."

Bruckhart said New Haven police detectives spoke with witnesses and gathered security footage.
