Dario Aponte, 81, of New Haven, who was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, was a beloved father of eight and grandfather and great-grandfather of many children, he served in the US Army, and retired after a long career with the Sargent Company.

Patricia Albee, 77, of New Haven, was a fighter. She was as strong as they come. Dealing with many losses of loved ones along with different health issues, anything you name, she has been through it from different cancers to countless surgeries and she always came through with love in heart and a smile on her face.

Island Ector, 33, of New Haven, was born in Trinidad & Tobago, moved to New York, earned two college degrees and was a college counselor at Achievement First Amistad High School. Not only was she a devoted mother to her son, Sir Noah, she was a loving daughter, a genuine sister, a cool aunt, a dear niece, a fun cousin, and a compassionate friend.
