A breakfast, brunch café owned by chef Meg Fama began as a busy food truck, is now a brick-and-mortar restaurant near the Quinnipiac River.

NEW HAVEN, CT — Open since late last month, Thursday was the official ribbon cutting for The Farm Belly Café, 20 Grand Ave., in the Fair Haven neighborhood and alongside the Quinnipiac River.
The breakfast and brunch café is owned by chef Meg Fama. What started as a popular food truck, which evolved into a mobile catering kitchen, is now a brick-and-mortar restaurant.
