Stabbing Reported, Victim Arrives At Hospital In Private Vehicle: New Haven Police
Police are investigating the reported stabbing.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred Friday night.
At 9:15 p.m. police responded to the Best Way Inn at 45 Pond Lily Ave. on a report of a stabbing.
Officers searched the scene but could not find a crime scene. A short time later, a hospital called to report a stabbing victim who arrived at the emergency department, police said.

The victim, a 36-year-old New Haven resident, arrived at the hospital by private vehicle, police said.
He reported being involved in an altercation on Whalley Avenue, but police were unable to find any evidence, police said. The victim's injuries are considered non-life-threatening.
