State Leaders Hold Student Loan Reimbursement Info Session At Southern
The April 15 session will provide students with details about CT's Student Loan Reimbursement Program, the first of its kind in the nation.
NEW HAVEN, CT — Southern Connecticut State University will host a Student Loan Reimbursement Program info session featuring state Rep. Corey P. Paris and state Sen. Gary Winfield Tuesday, April 15, from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Adanti Student Center Theatre.
This session will provide students with details about Connecticut’s brand-new Student Loan Reimbursement Program, the first of its kind in the nation. Paris, a co-creator of the program, and Winfield will discuss how students can benefit from this opportunity for student loan debt relief.
“Student loan debt is a pressing issue impacting countless graduates, particularly first-generation students and those with high financial need,” Interim President Dwayne Smith said. “Programs like this provide hope and create pathways for equitable access to higher education.”
