Teen, 16, Accidentally Shot Himself: New Haven Police
The teen was taken to a local hospital.
NEW HAVEN, CT — A 16-year-old accidentally shot himself, New Haven police said.
At 2:47 p.m. Friday, police responded to the intersection of John Daniels Place and Webster Street for a report of a person shot.
A teen was being treated by the fire department for a wound to his finger, police said. He was taken to a local hospital.

Officers determined that the incident happened inside a nearby home where the teen accidentally shot himself, police said.
