Thief Drives Away With Amazon Van Mid-Delivery: Police

Anyone with information about the case is asked to contact police.

NEW HAVEN, CT — An Amazon van was stolen mid-delivery Saturday in New Haven, according to police.

Officers responded around 5:30 p.m. to Portsea Street near Cedar Street after a male climbed into the van, which was running, and drove away while an employee was delivering a package, police said.

The stolen vehicle is a white Dodge Ram, according to police, who said it is not marked with any Amazon branding but does display the code “R3” as well as New Jersey license plate XHVS56.
