West Haven Man Injured In Daytime New Haven Shooting Sunday: Police

The man, 48, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a Beaver Hills neighborhood 2 p.m. shooting, police said in a post to "X."

NEW HAVEN, CT — A West Haven man was shot in the Beaver Hills section of New Haven Sunday afternoon, police said.

It was around 2 p.m. when the New Haven Police Department posted on "X," formerly Twitter, that officers were on the scene of a shooting in the area of Munson and Crescent streets.

Police noted that the man, 48, suffered gunshot injures that "did not appear to be life-threatening."
