What You Need To Know About New Haven's Fourth Of July Fireworks
Among the largest in the state, New Haven's fireworks display from the top of East Rock, begin shortly after 9 p.m. Friday.

NEW HAVEN, CT — New Haven’s fireworks celebration, one of the largest in the state, is set for Friday, July 4.
The fireworks will be set off from the summit of East Rock Park. The official in-person viewing sites are the athletic fields at Wilbur Cross High School.
Pre-fireworks festivities begin at 6 p.m. and include music, DJs, and food trucks. The fireworks display begins just after 9 p.m., and lasts around 25 minutes.

The media sponsors for New Haven’s Fourth of July fireworks celebration are News 8 and WYBC. News 8 will be streaming the fireworks celebration live at WTNH.com and broadcasting it on WCTX Channel 9 and the News 8 streaming app. WYBC 94.3 will provide the music before and during the fireworks display.
The rain date is Saturday, July 5.
