Woman Found Dead In CT Skate Park Identified: Police

NEW HAVEN, CT — Police have identified the woman who was found dead in a New Haven skate park Friday morning.

The New Haven Police Department posted an update on X Saturday on "the sudden death in Edgewood Park. The female has been identified as Jasmine Wilkes, 31, of New Haven."

The cause and manner of death are pending from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, police said.

Investigators were seen gathered directly behind the skate park in a grassy area Friday morning. That area is located on the roadway that runs through the Westville park.

"There are no apparent signs of trauma," police said Friday.
