NEW HAVEN, CT — Reported to police by Yale New Haven Hospital late Monday night as a walk-in gunshot victim, it was later determined that the 23-year-old was not shot, police posted to "X."

Police wrote, at around 9:20 p.m, that officers were called to the hospital for a man who'd been shot and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

An hour later, police noted that, "Per medical staff, on further scans, this was not a gunshot wound."
