⢠Winning Cash 5 ticket worth $100K sold in Newington on Sunday, remains unclaimed, CT Lottery says (nhregister.com) ā A winning Cash 5 lottery ticket worth $100,000 was sold at Newington Food Land on Walsh Avenue, and the prize has not yet been claimed. The winner matched all five numbers in Sundayās drawing and has 180 days to come forward at Connecticut Lottery headquarters. Several other big lottery prizes have already been claimed across the state this year.

⢠West Hartford pepper-spraying victim recalls encounter with suspect (wtnh.com) ā A 21-year-old Newington resident has been charged after police say he hit and then pepper-sprayed a man outside Shield Street Plaza in West Hartford. The victim sought refuge inside Cha Papi Tea & Sweets, which had to close early because the spray contaminated the air. Staff helped customers evacuate safely while police investigated the unusual disturbance in the typically quiet plaza.
