The winner matched all five numbers in Sunday’s drawing and has 180 days to come forward at Connecticut Lottery headquarters. Several other big lottery prizes have already been claimed across the state this year.
   

• West Hartford pepper-spraying victim recalls encounter with suspect (wtnh.com) — A 21-year-old Newington resident has been charged after police say he hit and then pepper-sprayed a man outside Shield Street Plaza in West Hartford. The victim sought refuge inside Cha Papi Tea & Sweets, which had to close early because the spray contaminated the air. Staff helped customers evacuate safely while police investigated the unusual disturbance in the typically quiet plaza.
