2025 Toy Drives In New Milford: Where To Donate

The holiday season is filled with joy, lights and celebration — but for some families, it can also bring stress and financial strain. Thankfully, communities like ours step up each year to help make the season brighter for every child.

Here are some places in and around New Milford where you can donate toys, gift cards or holiday essentials to support kids and families in need this year. Be sure to reach out directly to each organization to confirm drop-off hours, deadlines and specific items they’re requesting — most drives ask for new, unwrapped gifts.

Holiday Gift and Toy Drive

🎁 Accepts new, unwrapped gifts and toys for foster children (newborn through early 20s); focus this year on teen and young-adult items and toiletry/backpack supplies.
📍Drop-off location: Harley-Davidson of Danbury, 51 Federal Rd, Danbury, CT.
📅 Date range: Ongoing through Dec. 13, 2025 (check organizer page for current drop-off window).

🎁 Accepts new toys (and toy donations targeted to Yale New Haven Hospital Toy Closet program for pediatric patients).

Connecticut Children’s Foundation — Heroes & Helpers Virtual Toy Drive

🎁 Accepts monetary donations (virtual toy drive) used to purchase age-appropriate, brand-new, unwrapped toys and approved items for Connecticut youth; in-person drop-offs accepted only at scheduled Toy Drop-off Event and must follow Child Life guidelines.
📍Drop-off location: Online donations via Foundation page. Scheduled drop-off events are also available at the Connecticut Children’s warehouse (East Hartford, ~1.5 hours from New Milford).

🎁 Accepts new toys and children’s apparel to benefit Family & Children’s Aid of Connecticut.
📍Drop-off location: Candlewood East Marina, 204 Candlewood Lake Rd, Brookfield ,CT.
📅 Date range: Running through Dec. 20, 2025.
📌 Notes: This is the annual Boatload Of Toys drive (organized by the marina/showroom) — drop off at the showroom during posted business hours.
