• Brookfield man arrested on animal cruelty charges after dogs found in unsanitary conditions (wfsb.com) — Two Rottweilers from a Brookfield home are now in the care of New Milford Regional Animal Control after authorities say they were found underweight and living in filthy conditions. One dog was treated at a New Milford veterinary clinic and has already gained weight. The owner faces animal cruelty charges and is barred from owning pets while the case proceeds.
