DNA Links Man To New Milford Robbery: Report
Police say the accused has a criminal record in both Florida and Connecticut.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Following nearly three years of investigation, police have charged an Oxford man with a 2014 robbery of a gas station, reports the Register Citizen. Through DNA evidence, police arrested Michael Warga, 25, in connection with the robbery of the Valero gas station on Danbury Road.
Police say Officer Michael Lafond and K9 partner Kira searched the area and found a black hat, two black gloves and a black article of clothing. The DNA profile from a glove found to match those from similar robberies being investigated in Naugatuck and Prospect.
Warga, currently at the Bridgeport Correctional Center, has criminal history in both Florida and Connecticut. He appeared in Bantam Superior Court Wednesday.
