• New Milford approves European-style inn with Gilmore Girls theme in historic Bank Street building (ctpost.com) — New Milford’s Zoning Commission has unanimously approved a European-style Bank Street Inn in the historic Lautier building, with no exterior changes allowed because it sits in the town’s historic district. The six-room, hostel-style inn will lean into New Milford’s small-town charm and Gilmore Girls connection, offering shared lounges and workspaces to attract weekend visitors and boost downtown businesses.
