In Memory of Lorrie Miller DiGiovanni, 64

Ms. DiGiovanni was an active, faithful member of Christian Life Fellowship of New Milford.

DANBURY, CT — Lorrie [Miller] DiGiovanni, age 64 of Danbury CT, went home to heaven peacefully on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Regional Hospice and Health Care of Danbury surrounded by friends and family. The daughter of the late John H. Miller and Jeanette B. Miller of Milford, Lorrie was born on October 18, 1951 in Bridgeport Hospital. Lorrie graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a BA in elementary education and holds a masters degree in corporate communications from Fairfield University.

Lorrie was a senior career transition consultant for Lee Hecht Harrison, formerly Drake Beam Morin, where she helped counsel, advise and coach countless individuals on career transitions. Lorrie devoted her life to Jesus and the service of others. Over the course of her long career and through her close relationships and spiritual devotion, Lorrie celebrated each individual's gifts, their passions and helped inspired numerous people to realize their self-worth and the unconditional love that surrounded them. She loved all living things and was an active, faithful member of Christian Life Fellowship.

Predeceased by her mother and father, Jeanette Miller and John Miller and sister Nancy Morse, all of Milford, Lorrie is survived by her sister Barbara Smarz of Milford along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Lorrie's life was held on Sunday, October 2 at Northville Baptist Church, 9 Little Bear Road, New Milford, CT at 2 p.m. A private burial will follow at the discretion of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Lorrie's memory can be made to the Christian Life Fellowship, 48 Anderson Ave, New Milford, CT 06776 or Regional Hospice and Home Care of Danbury.
