A fun creative writing program for kids called Muse Squad has come to New Milford! The course is offered at Village Center For The Arts and is open for ages 9 - 11. The character-filled space will serve as a perfect backdrop for children to write stories.
The newly launched writing program is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Instructor, Brittney Richardson, says she came up with Muse Squad as a dream course that she wishes was offered when she was young.
"Miss Brittney" says: “Children will be introduced to various literary devices and techniques that they’ll apply to different pieces of writing. They are invited to dabble in many genres—fiction, nonfiction, poetry, stream of consciousness, etc.”
