Niche ranks the top 100 school districts nationwide and in Connecticut for preparing students for college. How did New Milford do?

New Milford, CT — As high school students across Connecticut graduate, or are about to graduate, it’s never too soon to look at how school districts in Connecticut prepare students for college.

Niche.com, which analyzes schools across the country on a myriad of factors, has studied which school districts in the country, and in Connecticut, are the best at preparing students for college success.
According to Niche.com, the rankings are based on “graduation rates, AP enrollment, SAT/ACT scores, and the quality of colleges that students consider.”
Niche.com has concluded the top 5 school districts in the nation for preparing students for college are: Bloomfield Hills School in Michigan, Palo Alto Unified School District in California, Scarsdale Union Free School District in New York, Princeton Public School in Princeton, New Jersey and the Edgemont Union Free School District in Greenburgh, New York.
Four Connecticut school districts crack the top 100 nationwide, including Westport at No. 33, Greenwich at No. 48, New Canaan at No. 64, and Wilton at No. 65.
