New Milford Drowning Victim Identified: Report
BREAKING: A New York City man drowned in the Housatonic River Tuesday afternoon.
NEW MILFORD, CT — Police have identified Tuesday's drowning victim as 34-year-old Xavier Puin of Brooklyn, NY, reports the News Times. The family told police Puin was swimming off a riverbank in the Housatonic River when he slipped underwater for an unknown reason.
Divers found his body two hours later, police say. The drowning was reported at 3:38 p.m.
The Chief Medical Examiner's office will conduct an investigation.
