New Milford Road Will Be Closed Until This Afternoon

Mayor Pete Bass has asked the public to avoid the area as crews replace a drainage pipe. The closure is expected to last until 2 p.m.

NEW MILFORD, CT — Hine Road in New Milford will be closed until around 2 p.m. Tuesday so crews can replace a drainage pipe, Mayor Pete Bass said.

The road closed at 8 a.m., Bass said, and he is asking the public to avoid the area if possible.

Crews are also repairing a catch basin on Pleasant View Road today, and a pothole machine is being deployed on Connelly Road, Chaplin Road and Greenview Road.
