New Milford Youth Baseball and Softball Sweeps the State Softball Tournaments

The four teams had a history-making year in States and will advance to the New England Championships next week in New Hampshire.

New Milford, CT — New Milford Youth Baseball and Softball has swept the State Softball Tournaments with wins from State Champion 8U Breakers, 10U Chaos, 12U Chaos and 14U Chaos softball teams.

The four teams had a history-making year in States and will advance to the championships. All of the girls softball teams won the Babe Ruth state tournaments, winning against Danbury, Stamford and Newtown, which is a first.

The U14 team was undefeated in the State tournament, coached by Rob Masciarelli, Jim Billota, Quinn Omarra and Steve Schaab.

All of the teams will go on to New Hampshire next week for the New England Championships. Find out schedule info here.

Local tournaments began on Saturday, July 2 with the 12U Majors States Tournament on the E Field. The tournament runs through Sunday, July 10. Click here for brackets and further details.
