• Five people, three dogs displaced after condo fire in New Milford, officials say (newstimes.com) — Five New Milford residents and three dogs were forced from their Willow Springs condominiums after a Tuesday morning fire that crews quickly contained, thanks in part to closed interior doors. Firefighters from Water Witch Hose Company No. 2 responded within minutes, and the Red Cross is assisting the displaced adults, minor, and pets while the New Milford fire marshal investigates the cause.
