Reminder: New Milford's Relay for Life is Saturday
New Milford's Relay for Life takes place on Saturday, June 11 and honor's last year's Chair who passed away of sarcoma at the age of 43.

NEW MILFORD, CT— Everyone knows someone whose life has been touched by cancer. On Saturday, June 11 hundreds will come together to raise thousands of dollars for New Milford's Relay For Life.
The American Cancer Society Relay For Life event is held in over 20 countries worldwide. The event gives people a chance to fight back against cancer and honor those who are fighting or have lost their lives to the disease through a moving silent Luminaria ceremony.
To date, 27 teams in New Milford which include 170 participants have raised more than $13,000 for Saturday's event.

This year's Relay for Life is dedicated to Mike Martinelli, 2015 Honorary Chair of New Milford Relay for Life.
Michael Vincent Martinelli passed away on April 27, 2016 after a courageous two-and-a-half year battle with sarcoma at the age of 43.
The event takes place on Saturday, June 11 beginning at 10 a.m. at Sarah Noble Intermediate School, 25 Sunny Valley Rd, New Milford, CT. Check out the schedule of events here.
