Spring Writing Classes at Village Center for the Arts

Take an adventure led by Peter Pan, and write stories inspired along the way. Hear the voices of the Darlings, the pirates’ slang, and see the world through the eyes of the lost boys.

This 10-week creative writing course meets on Fridays, March 8 - May 31 (no class April 9, April 5 and April 19), from 4 - 5:30 p.m. The program is held at New Milford’s cornerstone, Village Center for the Arts, located at 12 Main Street, New Milford, Connecticut. “Neverland” is open to children ages 8 - 11. Enrollment is $350. Tuition assistance is available.

Participants are invited to bring a notebook and pen or a laptop, and a snack.

The course will be led by the Founder of Muse Squad, Brittney Richardson. Muse Squad is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting creativity and literacy in children. For a listing of more creative writing courses for kids and teens visit MuseSquad.org.
