11th Annual Newtown Road Race & Kid’s Run: Registration Now Open!

Newtown, CT — Registration is now open for the Newtown Youth & Family Services 11th Annual Newtown Road Race & Kid’s Run.

The race will be held on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 8 a.m. at Dickinson Memorial Park in Newtown. All proceeds benefit Newtown Youth & Family Services.

The 5k race welcomes individuals, families, children, runners, walkers and stroller pushers to help raise funds for Newtown Youth & Family Services, a nonprofit that serves family members of all ages by providing the most affordable mental health services, support groups, after-school and autism disorder programming.

According to their website, Newtown Youth & Family Services advocates in the community for programs to reduce substance abuse, increase opportunities for student involvement and other initiatives.
