28-Year-Old Man Arrested on Harassment Charge

A 28-year-old local man was arrested by Newtown and Bethel police on harassment charges. BREAKING

NEWTOWN, CT — A 28-year-old local man was arrested on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 on a number of charges after police say he violated a protective order. Anthony Depallo, 28, of Stratford, was taken into custody by Newtown police who advised Bethel Police they had Depallo in their custody on an active arrest warrant out of Bethel, police said.

Newtown Police Officer Schretzenmayer and Bethel Police Officer Officer Garrett Vasquez went to Newtown Police and placed Depallo in custody. Depallo was transported to Bethel Police and was routinely processed to include fingerprints and a mug shot.

Depallo’s bond was set at $75,000 and he appeared in court the following day on Oct. 14, 2016 at 09:30 hours in Danbury Superior Court.
