Books are magic, and there's no place better for kids to experience them this summer than C.H. Booth Library.
They kicked off their "Dig Into Reading" summer program for kids with a magic show Tuesday featuring a book sale -- and an appearance by Steve the Magician.
"How many people love to visit the library?" Steve asked the crowd of about 30 kids and their parents. "Because that's what we'll be doing today -- digging into books!"
Endangered animals, honeybees and many more fun events are on the way this summer. The program runs through August 17.
