CPAC Presents 'Developing the Individual Education Program'
The next forum will be held on Feb. 23 at 7 pm in the Lecture Hall at Newtown HS. Community members are encouraged to attend this training.
From CPAC: The next in a series of interactive community forums will be held on Thursday, February 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lecture Hall at Newtown High School. Please note that this was originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 22.
Community members are encouraged to attend this training provided by the Connecticut Parent Advocacy Center on how parents can be actively and effectively involved in the development of the IEP. Participants will learn the key components of the IEP and will become familiar with current Connecticut IEP forms. Guidance will also be offered regarding the development of measurable goals and tips for monitoring a student’s progress.
