Dirty Martinis Jazz Trio To Perform At Newtown Summer Concert Series
Dirty Martinis bring smooth jazz to the Newtown Summer Concert Series July 3 at Dickinson Bandshell
NEWTOWN, CT — The Newtown Summer Concert Series continues Thursday, July 3, with a performance by the Dirty Martinis, a seasoned jazz trio known for their classic sound and smooth arrangements. The free show begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Dickinson Memorial Bandshell, located at 50 Elm Drive and Brushy Hill Road.
Comprised of longtime Connecticut musicians, the Dirty Martinis blend decades of jazz experience with a passion for traditional swing, bebop, and modern arrangements. Their performances often feature beloved standards alongside lively improvisation, creating a sound both nostalgic and fresh.
The Newtown Summer Concert Series, presented by Newtown Parks & Recreation and Claris Construction, runs every Thursday through July 31. A rain date is scheduled for August 7. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and picnics to enjoy the evening outdoors.
